Sailing through the snowy portal Far in the Mountainous North As glaciers turn to crystals Across the Arctic Seas we sore Far beyond the North Wind A vast portal is unearthed Traversing its raging maelstrom Into a world below Echoes of arcane lands Echoes of forlorn worlds Descending deeper and deeper Leaving behind the frigid surface world Leaving behind these desolate lands Sailing past Ultima Thule A voyage to an inner world Through the portal hidden in the Arctic Sea Cold waters stretching endlessly into darkness Into giant caverns the hunt continues Enduring the violence of the merciless Styx Until a warm light illuminates in the distance Ever-growing Ever illuminating Ever calming Ceasing the turbulence Unfolding vast forests Onwards we sail Until a new world is slowly revealed An unseen kingdom inside a hollow inner Earth Illuminated by a red fallen sun Down its rivers, through its colossal canyons We’ve entered the realm of the forgotten ones They’ve dwelt here for ages These ancient precursors of man A race of magical giants Living blissfully in Subterranean lands Ancient lands nourished by the Earth’s core A reddish ball of fire they call the Smoky God Shining upon the pulsing forests of Shambhala Worshipped by the Subterraneans as their source of all life Their kingdom we salute Their rivers we sail Their people we praise And their sun we hail

Guide me through the Atlantean forests Oh great smoky one, great flaming light In the jungles of your vast domain I harness thy force for this sacred rite From a tainted world I come Escaping an abysmal fate To align my spirit with thy will A darkness above I’ve sworn to escape Breathe me back to life Great smoky one Restore my Vrilic light Oh Subterranean Sun Shine on me your rays That ignites my darkened heart The force of holy Agartha That frees and purifies all Far from the world above I’ve come A world of decadence and tyranny Ruled by an evil regime That long ago slayed the wrong enemy Now in this kingly realm Where the air pulses with Aether I inhale the supreme force The force of eternity I shall mirror your light I shall rise beyond all illusions At one with the force That destroys all chaos and confusion RISE To mirror your light To rise beyond all illusions At one with the force To rise as a godlike spirit Like a piercing fire in the night And in the surface world’s black wintery skies I shall radiate pure Vrilic light Ignite the Flame As the shackles of fear are broken Harnessing the Supreme Force As my Eye is pried open

At dawn we arrived Descending on the ancient citadel A place of tranquility Where the royal Vril-ya dwell A place enshrined by their magic Captivating and mesmerizing The sacred kingdom of Agartha Stands and shines before us A place of solace from the surface world Behold the White Shores of Agartha A land far beyond the Arctic portal Behold the White Shores of Agartha They took us down their silver streets And into their golden palaces To partake of their precious mead From their shiny and silver chalices To bestow on us their Vrilic magick The ultimate force of Prana That which built their underworld nation The keys to Thulean Sadhana So far from our home But this is the place where we stem from The place of our people’s birth This holy kingdom in the depths of the Earth This sacred land we shall cherish A hidden world to never perish Never to be stricken by chaos Never to bear the fate of Atlantis’s fall A fallen world, yet a sacred world A land far beyond the North Wind Far beyond the dismal surface world above Behold the White Shores of Agartha With splendor we ride its streams Across lands of the unseen Behold the White Shores of Agartha

about

Unleashed from the depths of the Hollow, Inner Earth, Stratorus returns with its third offering of melodic black metal.
The album is a musical exploration of Hollow Earth science fiction and strange theories about UFOs forged underneath the Earth's crust, in the ancient kingdom of Agartha, where the descendants of Atlantis dwell. After Atlantis fell to the deluge at the end of the Ice Age, its inhabitants fled towards the portal hidden in the Arctic Sea that led to the Hollow, Inner Earth. Here, in a new underworldly kingdom, this Subterranean race has harnessed great magical powers together with the help of the gods to forge giant flying saucers, so that one day they may reclaim their land on the surface.

Inspired by science fiction stories like "The Smoky God", "Vril", and "Journey to the Center of the Earth", and influenced by Scandinavian black metal bands and traditional metal legends like Mercyful Fate, Stratorus's "Far Beyond the North Wind" is a grand work exploring a concept rarely touched upon in the realm of black metal.
